Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. Her main work involves involved in Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. She made her acting debut in Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah, born into an Anglo-Indian family from Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She has an older sister currently working and living in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research Assistant. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea began learning classical piano when she was eight. Andrea was a huge geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She sang in The Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars aged 10. It was this group that shaped her musical and singing career. She was performer in the college, in a variety of shows hosted by The Madras Players or EVAM. The president was of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began performing as an infant actress as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. In 2006, her role in the new leo Coffee advertisement was in the role of Shiva. She also acted as a character in Podhigai's series. She acted throughout India. She played a brief part in the final scene in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham V. Menon was invited after she appeared in the Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu film to be featured as a lead character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the housewife with a husband who has had an affair. The character was allegedly threatened with a blackmail. Andrea was approached by Simran Shobana and Tabu. The film was released in the early part of 2010 She agreed in 2011 to take on a small supporting role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was came out in August 2011. In 2013, she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's romance movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
