Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actor, performer, writer and director. Most famously, she is best known for her part on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Tara Maclay. She also produced, directed and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle, who works as an artist. Her father is Jewish while her mother was raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up at an Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson's acting career has continued to flourish since the end of Buffy. She appeared in films like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Additionally, she worked in writing for her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and was the director of Drones in 2010.
