Kari Sam Wuhrer, born on April 28, 1968, is an American Actress and Singer. Wuhrer started her acting career when she was in her teens. Her best-known character was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three brothers and sisters. When she was young she sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. Kari Samantha Wuhrer, an American actress and model, was born in the town of Brookfield, Connecticut, on April 28, 1967. Born in Brookfield on April 28th on the 28th of April, 1967. Her mother works as an accountant for payroll, while her father, German-American, is a policeman and auto salesperson. Kari is one of the three youngest children. Kari performed in nightclubs while she was a teenager. She would sneak out from her home to perform. Kari began acting at the Wooster School when she was 13 before going on to study drama in NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was a teenager. Her first breakthrough came in 1987 with MTV Remote Control.
